A big congrats to our friends at Nickel Brook Brewing Company for winning silver at the 2020 CBAs in the category of Wood and Barrel-Aged Sour Beer. Uncertainty Principle No. 6 is a tangy and tart sour that was fruited with red currants and cherries and barrel aged. While it’s gone now, Uncertainty Principle No.7 will not disappoint either with it’s bright flavor and notes of ginger, lemon, and orange.
At this year’s Canadian Brewing Awards, Saskatchewan’s own District Brewing Company took home a gold for their Englishish IPA, winning the highest award under the English Style India Pale Ale category. Made with modern day simcoe, cascade, centennial and citra hops, this unfiltered and refreshing beer is a twist on what our brewing forefathers intended with their standard English IPAs.
Congratulations to Parallel 49 for winning both a bronze award for Profondo Rosso in the Belgian-Style Sour Ale category, and a gold award for Filthy Dirty scoring the highest in the American Style India Pale Ale category at the 2020 Canadian Brewing Awards!
